RateGain Travel Technologies (RateGain), a global provider of AI-powered SaaS solutions for the travel and hospitality sector, has announced a new partnership with South America’s Sky Airline. The low-cost carrier will use RateGain’s AirGain pricing intelligence platform to strengthen its pricing strategy and respond to changing market conditions.
Sky Airline, which operates across Chile, Peru, Argentina, Brazil, and other key South American destinations, will now have access to real-time competitive fare data from more than 300 airlines and over 50 online travel agencies (OTAs). This integration is expected to support the airline’s efforts to maintain cost-effective fares while ensuring profitability in an increasingly competitive regional market.
Juan Ignacio Galán, Head of Revenue Management & Pricing at Sky Airline, said the partnership reflects the airline’s emphasis on real-time decision-making and strategic pricing. “Partnering with AirGain will allow us to refine our pricing strategy using the latest AI-driven insights. In a highly dynamic market, this is crucial to ensure we offer the best fares without compromising profitability. We look forward to this partnership with AirGain and the opportunity to optimize our pricing decisions and strengthen our market position,” he said.
Vinay Varma, Senior Vice President and General Manager at AirGain, commented that the partnership would equip Sky Airline with essential tools to navigate an evolving aviation landscape. “As one of the fastest-growing carriers in South America, Sky Airline requires real-time, data-driven insights to remain competitive. With AirGain, they can efficiently track market trends, identify pricing opportunities, and ensure optimal fare positioning,” he added.
In addition to the partnership, AirGain has rolled out its AI-powered ‘AI-Digest’ feature, designed to provide airline revenue managers with daily insights into route performance, fare trends, and market anomalies. This tool is expected to help Sky Airline and other partners make informed pricing adjustments quickly, as market dynamics shift.
