The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) has unveiled the ‘Kingston Season of Excitement,’ a dynamic campaign celebrating the cultural and sporting events that define Kingston during the spring season. Running from March to April 2025, the campaign invites global visitors to experience world-class competitions and vibrant local celebrations.

Kingston, Jamaica’s lively capital, will host several major events, including the ISSA Boys and Girls Championships (March 25-29), a premier high school track and field competition, and the Grand Slam Track Meet (April 4-6), featuring elite athletes from around the world. Additionally, the iconic Carnival in Jamaica (April 21-28) promises a week of pulsating music, spectacular parades, and infectious reggae and soca rhythms.

Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism Edmund Bartlett expressed his excitement, stating, “Kingston is the heart of Jamaican culture. This season offers guests an unparalleled opportunity to experience Kingston’s unique vibe, while contributing to the growth of our tourism economy.” Donovan White, Director of Tourism, added, “The Kingston Season of Excitement honours Jamaica’s finest sporting achievements and cultural heritage, creating unforgettable experiences for our visitors.”

Partnering with Expedia and Caribbean Airlines, the JTB ensures seamless travel for those eager to dive into the energy of Kingston’s spring events. The Jamaican government has also allocated JMD16 billion to the tourism sector for 2025-2026 to further enhance the country’s position as a global travel leader.

Kingston’s rich history, attractions, and renowned hospitality are at the forefront of this vibrant campaign. Visitors can explore cultural landmarks, indulge in authentic Jamaican cuisine, and enjoy the city’s bustling nightlife.
