Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami released a new tourism calendar highlighting Tehri‘s potential as a premier winter adventure destination at Tehri dam on Tuesday. Featuring a mix of adventure, scenic beauty, and spiritual landmarks, the ‘Destination Tehri Calendar 2025‘ aims to attract tourists seeking unique winter experiences in Uttarakhand.

Dhami said Tehri has a bright future as a hub for adventure tourism: “Tehri has always been a treasure trove of natural beauty and cultural richness. With the launch of this winter tourism calendar, we aim to highlight the untapped potential of Tehri as a leading adventure destination. Our govt is committed to supporting infrastructure development and promoting sustainable tourism in the region. We believe Tehri, with its vast array of activities and serene landscapes, is well on its way to becoming one of the most sought-after adventure destinations in India.”

Developed by the Tehri Garhwal administration in collaboration with Uttarakhand Tourism and TOI, the calendar features several lesser-known but equally captivating spots that showcase the region’s scenic views, flora, and fauna, making it a must-visit destination this winter.

The event showcased a range of activities available to tourists during winter, from thrilling adventure sports to peaceful spiritual retreats. Secretary of tourism, Sachin Kurve, was presented with the calendar at the secretariat.
