Wonderla Holidays, one of India’s leading amusement park operators, marked its 25th anniversary with a commemorative event at Wonderla Kochi, attended by political leaders, cultural figures, and company stakeholders.
During the event, the company announced that its Chennai park is slated for launch in the third quarter of 2025. It also revealed plans to introduce Kerala’s first Tower Bungee Jumping experience at its Kochi location in collaboration with Indya Bungee Group. A new Night Carnival experience was unveiled as well, which will run from 1 to 4 May 2025, featuring fire shows, music performances, and entertainment acts.
The celebrations were attended by Adv. P.V. Srinijin, MLA of Kunnathunadu, NSK Umesh, Ernakulam District Collector, filmmaker and actor Basil Joseph, and actress Mahima Nambiar. The company’s leadership, including founder Kochouseph Chittilappilly and Managing Director Arun K Chittilappilly, were also present.

From disruptive experiences like Mission Interstellar in Bengaluru to the new Night Carnival Initiative and bungee jumping in Kochi, we continue to lead with innovation. Initiatives like Wonder Labs further extend our commitment to impact and inclusion.”
A Wonder Wall of Fame was inaugurated to trace the company’s evolution since its inception as Veegaland in 2000. Additionally, the firm launched a brand film titled “25 Wonderla Varshangal”, highlighting its cultural impact in Kerala.
Wonderla also announced the expansion of its Wonder Labs initiative, which transforms science laboratories in government and aided schools into interactive learning spaces. Applications have opened for 25 schools to join the programme.
With over 43 million visitors across its parks in Kochi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar, the company continues to expand its national footprint.
