Hilton today announced the signing of its first DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Siliguri Sevoke Road, in partnership with Soonerio Hotels , a subsidiary of Beekay Group. Set to open in 2028, the 120-key hotel will enhance Hilton’s footprint in Northeast India, offering the renowned hospitality of the DoubleTree brand.
Zubin Saxena, Senior Vice President and Regional Head, South Asia, Hilton, stated, “The signing of DoubleTree by Hilton Siliguri aligns with the growing demand for upscale accommodations in the area. It reflects our strategy of placing the right brands in key locations and showcases our commitment to exceptional hospitality in South Asia’s most sought-after leisure destinations.”
Siliguri, strategically located at the junction of India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Bangladesh, is fast becoming a hub for business, tourism, and trade. Surrounded by the Eastern Himalayas, the city is a gateway to renowned destinations such as Darjeeling, Kalimpong, and Sikkim. The hotel’s prime location on Sevoke Road, a key city thoroughfare, offers easy access to Bagdogra Airport and the new Jalpaiguri Railway Station.

The new property will feature a variety of rooms and suites catering to both business and leisure travellers. Guests will have access to multiple dining options, over 17,000 square feet of meeting and event space, a fitness centre, a spa, and an outdoor pool.
