In a bid to transform Goa’s tourism sector, the Goa government has launched a new digital platform aimed at providing seamless travel experiences for both tourists and locals. LetsGoa is a Tourism Experience Platform (TEP) designed to streamline the travel process for tourists and connect them with local businesses. The platform enables users to easily explore, book, and enjoy a range of services from hotels, travel agencies, and activity operators across Goa. It is expected to boost Goa’s appeal as a top tourist destination while supporting the local economy.
“Goa is already known as a premier destination, and LetsGoa will help showcase the state’s rich heritage and natural beauty, while making travel more convenient for everyone,” said CM Sawant. Tourism Minister Khaunte added, “LetsGoa integrates tourism, technology, and local businesses, offering a single point of contact for tourists to access all their travel needs in Goa.”
Key features of the platform include secure bookings for activities such as paragliding, jungle safaris, and kayaking, as well as a Digital Tourism Card offering exclusive discounts. Additionally, the platform provides real-time updates on events and festivals. Sharing his thoughts, Anchipaka highlighted that LetsGoa simplifies the booking process and promotes Goa’s diverse tourism offerings, including wellness, adventure, and heritage tourism. The launch event also introduced 75 Free Public WiFi Hotspots, 11 4G BSNL towers, and the One Map Goa GIS portal, supporting the platform’s goal of improving connectivity and infrastructure in the region.
