Fiji Airways joins oneworld alliance, expanding global reach – ET TravelWorld

Fiji Airways has officially become a full member of the oneworld alliance, strengthening its global presence and expanding the range of benefits available to its customers. With this membership, Fiji Airways passengers will now have access to oneworld‘s network of nearly 900 destinations across the globe, as well as over 700 airport lounges worldwide, including new oneworld-branded lounges at Amsterdam’s Schiphol and Seoul’s Incheon airports.

As part of the membership, Fiji Airways customers will enjoy priority check-in, boarding, and seamless travel benefits when flying with other oneworld carriers. The airline will also offer its passengers the ability to earn and redeem miles and earn tier points across the entire oneworld network, enhancing the travel experience for frequent flyers.

Based at Nadi International Airport, Fiji Airways serves 25 destinations across 14 countries and territories. This membership will allow the airline to integrate even further into the global network, connecting travellers to major hubs such as Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney, and the newly added Dallas-Fort Worth.

Fiji Airways CEO Andre Viljoen expressed his pride in the milestone, saying, “Becoming a full member of the oneworld alliance is a proud moment for Fiji Airways. Additionally, the airline has adopted the Advantage rewards programme, offering its frequent flyers access to exclusive oneworld benefits. Founded in 1951, Fiji Airways operates a fleet of 23 aircraft, including the A350-900s, and is known for its renowned Fijian hospitality. As part of its oneworld integration, Fiji Link, the airline’s regional affiliate, joins the alliance, offering domestic services across Fiji and regional connections to neighbouring Pacific nations.
