River cruise operator Antara Cruises has announced the appointment of Vineet Arora as Chief Operating Officer. Arora brings over 22 years of hospitality experience to the role and is expected to steer operational strategy as the company strengthens its footprint in India’s luxury cruise segment.
Arora returns to Antara Cruises, having previously served as Vice President where he played a key role in developing the world’s longest river cruise project. During that period, he contributed to the brand’s growth and visibility within the premium river cruise sector.
Before rejoining Antara, Arora was involved in building a hospitality company from inception, helping it grow to a 25-resort portfolio. His work has spanned operations, marketing, sales, and business development across both established brands and startups.
Raj Singh, Founder and Chairman of Antara Cruises, said: “Vineet’s leadership and deep understanding of hospitality and cruise operations make him a strong addition to our team. His expertise will help us shape the next chapter of our heritage river journeys.”
On his appointment, Arora said: “It’s a great pleasure to return to Antara Cruises and support its mission to redefine luxury river cruising. I’m looking forward to enhancing guest experiences, prioritising sustainability, and creating meaningful local impact.”
Antara Cruises continues to focus on sustainable tourism and regional development through its operations on India’s rivers. The company’s offerings emphasise cultural preservation and environmental stewardship, aiming to set industry benchmarks in heritage river tourism.
