Albatros Expeditions has introduced an innovative offering for Indian groups, allowing them to bring their own chef or Maharaj on board during their polar expeditions. This unique culinary experience, designed to meet the needs of Indian travellers, allows them to enjoy home-style or gourmet Indian meals while exploring some of the world’s most remote and stunning destinations. The initiative, announced by STIC Travel Group, the official marketing and sales representative of Albatros Expeditions in India, has sparked considerable interest among Indian travellers.
“Indian travellers have always placed immense value on culinary experiences, and we are thrilled to facilitate this unparalleled offering through our exclusive partnership with Albatros Expeditions,” said Isha Goyal, CEO of STIC Travel Group. “The enthusiastic response we’ve been receiving reaffirms that bespoke experiences like these are the future of luxury expeditions.”
Albatros Expeditions, with four decades of experience in expedition cruising, continues to redefine the industry by blending adventure with personalised services. The “Chef on Board” option is an example of the company’s commitment to offering tailored experiences that prioritise comfort and familiarity for their guests.
STIC Travel Group has been Albatros Expeditions’ exclusive representative for over two years, bringing polar expeditions to Indian travellers. Following the success of this partnership, they are now expanding their offerings to include Greenland land-based products and flight ticketing services for the new route between Copenhagen and Kangerlussuaq, operated by Albatros Arctic Circle in collaboration with Air Greenland.
“After two years of close collaboration, we are excited to deepen our successful partnership with STIC Travel Group. Their expertise and reach in India have already resulted in a few hundred Indian travellers embarking on our polar expeditions in a short span,” said Anders Ellemann Kristensen, Sales Director at Albatros Expeditions.
