BLS International, a global leader in visa processing and consular services, has announced the launch of an AI-powered voicebot to support visa applicants in Canada. The company becomes the first in the industry to deploy such a tool, designed to deliver round-the-clock assistance for customer queries while reducing wait times and improving operational efficiency.
The AI-enabled voicebot will assist users with routine visa-related questions, guidance on documentation and information on consular services, reducing the dependency on live human agents. The new system is expected to significantly ease customer service workloads and eliminate the long queues traditionally associated with visa and consular service queries.
In its initial rollout, the voicebot will communicate exclusively in English. A second phase will extend its capabilities to include support for over 22 languages, enabling global missions to offer a more inclusive, multilingual experience for users across various geographies.

The voicebot is part of BLS International’s broader digital transformation strategy, which focuses on intelligent automation and customer-first service innovation. The company also plans to introduce AI-powered Chatbots and an AI-enhanced email response system in its third phase, allowing real-time, personalised answers to applicant queries. A fourth phase will implement a quality management system designed to monitor and assess 100 per cent of customer interactions to ensure consistent service standards.
