The Leela has announced the opening of The Leela Hyderabad, marking the brand’s debut in the city. Located in the prestigious Banjara Hills neighborhood, this 156-room hotel combines modern luxury with the cultural heritage of the Deccan Plateau.
The Leela Hyderabad reflects the charm of Banjara Hills, an area historically associated with opulence and leisure. The hotel’s design merges traditional elements with contemporary luxury, featuring bespoke design, intricate craftsmanship, and curated art pieces that honor the region’s storied past. Set on 2.5 acres, the hotel caters to both business and leisure travelers.
Hyderabad, known for its cultural richness and as a hub for innovation, aligns with The Leela’s mission to offer destinations that blend India’s heritage with modern experiences. The city’s status as a global center for technology and business complements the hotel’s role in providing a refined environment for visitors.

Additionally, with over 930 sq. m. of event space, including a terrace courtyard, The Leela Hyderabad is positioned as a venue for corporate and social events.
The design of the hotel incorporates elements that pay homage to Hyderabad’s cultural legacy, such as Warangal temple-inspired pillars, chandeliers, gilded ceilings, hand-painted murals, and unique art collections. The lobby reflects the grandeur of the region, further enhanced by local craftsmanship and artwork celebrating Hyderabad’s heritage.
